RollerMouse Free3 | Contour Design
RollerMouse Free3 has a more gradual wrist rest than our other RollerMouse lines, making it the perfect option for those with medium or large hands that work from their desktop.
RollerMouse Free3 comes with four main function buttons: left click, right click, scroll lock and a one-touch double-click. The Free 3 also comes with four shortcut buttons: Copy, Paste, Forward and Back. Through the use of our driver all of these buttons are fully programmable, giving the Free3 the most customizable options out of all the RollerMouse products.
The RollerMouse is an ergonomic alternative to the traditional mouse that sits directly in front of your keyboard. You move the cursor by touching the rollerbar lightly with your fingertips.
The traditional mouse forces you to use your arms, back, shoulders, neck, hands, and wrists to perform a simple task - moving the cursor on a computer screen. This is the root of many potential problems, from repetitive strain injuries such as Carpal Tunnel to Tendonitis or simply causing pain.
Why RollerMouse is a better way to work.
You can move the cursor using both hands. This helps avoid discomfort and prevent pain by varying your position.
In the zone
It is placed in the middle of the recommended work zone, eliminating long and repetitive reaching movements.
Does not require your back, neck, and shoulders to be involved in mouse work.
It is stationary and grip-less, reducing static and tense hand positions.
Built-in wrist supports helps you avoid resting your weight on your wrists, reducing stress and strain.
Five centrally-located buttons come pre-programmed to perform everyday, common mouse functions including copy, paste and a 'one-touch' double-click; customize any of these buttons to perform your favorite shortcuts. The cursor speed, scroll wheel and rollerbar are also customizable. By default, the cursor speed button allows you to choose from ten speeds, ranging from 600 to 2800 dpi. Colored lights signify which speed setting you are currently using.
A new look and feel
A sturdier, aluminum base reduces risk of slipping and provides more durability. Premium leatherette padding runs the full length of the unit, offering extra wrist support. The scroll wheel has a seamless glide up, down and across the page. Keyboard risers are inserted at the back of the unit to provide height and create an ideal transition between keyboard and RollerMouse. A slider switch on the bottom of the unit is used to adjust the click force.
